- Practical Demonstration and Participant Practice (in-person sessions)

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand
the legal responsibilities of employers and employees under Irish
legislation
- Recognise
potential hazards associated with manual handling
- Understand
the structure and function of the spine and how injuries occur
- Carry
out a manual handling risk assessment

correct lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying techniques

safe manual handling practices in real work scenarios
