- Medical Emergencies (stroke, asthma, diabetes, seizures, etc.)
- Trauma Management: bleeding, burns, fractures, and spinal injuries
- Unconscious Patient Care and Recovery Position
- Infection Prevention and Legal Considerations
- Written and practical skills assessment
🧠 Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Perform
up-to-date CPR and AED procedures in line with current guidelines
- Assess
and manage a range of medical and trauma emergencies
- Provide
safe and effective care for burns, fractures, wounds, bleeding, and shock
- Maintain
proper patient assessment, care, and communication
- Understand
infection control and health & safety requirements
- Meet
legal responsibilities in the role of a First Aid Responder

(12–14 contact hours)
- Must
be completed within 2 years of original FAR certification expiry date
🎓 Certification
- Participants
will receive a renewed PHECC First Aid Response certificate
- Certificate
is valid for 2 years from date of successful course completion
- Fully
recognised by the HSA and PHECC
